Children and Cancer

The data for each cancer type (by anatomical site) is categorised by broad age group and sex. Some types of cancer are only found in men or women - eg. testicular cancer in boys/men and ovarian cancer in girls/women. Other types of cancer show different trends in males and females, which can give us clues about their causes and can help us judge how and when to screen or test for them.
